Garlicky Roasted Chickpeas

Prep Notes

These are my favorite super simple, quick and easy, go-to savory snack!


1 (15oz can) chickpeas (garbanzo beans), thoroughly rinsed & drained

1 Tbsp tahini

1 Tbsp tamari sauce

1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

garlic powder, to taste (can use fresh garlic, but Little HP was helping & he has more fun dumping tons of powder into the bowl!)


1. Preheat the oven to 450F

2. In a small bowl, combine tahini, tamari, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, & garlic powder. Mix thoroughly. 

3. In a larger bowl mix tahini mixture with chickpeas. Roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty, and make sure all of the chickpeas are coated with the mixture.

4. Spread the chickpeas onto a cookie sheet & roast for 20-30 minutes (check often to make sure they don't burn!) Cook according to your preference. Some like them SUPER crispy, while others prefer them a little chewy. It's all up to you!

5. Let cool for a few minutes before d.e.v.o.u.r.i.n.g!
